昨晩の金曜ロードショーは「アナと雪の女王」でした。2014年公開の映画、5年も前です。月日が経つのは早いものです。
当時、あまりにもLet It Goが流行っていたので、映画を観る前にサントラをTSUTAYAに借りにいった記憶があります。しかも英語Ver.を。（日本語版が発売される前だったので）
Let It Goが聞けて満足でしたが、映画を観ていないから展開がさっぱり分からず。サントラは映画を観てから聴く方が良いです。後にも先にも映画を観る前にサントラを聞いたのはこれ限り。
とりあえず、閉じこもったり出て行ったり、戸締りに忙しいサントラでした。
Do You Want To Build A Snowman?で、
部屋から出てきて～ って呼びかけられても出て行かず、
Come on, let's go and play, I never see you anymore. Come out the door!
For The First Time In Foreverで、
（嫌だけど）今日だけは仕方がないから、扉を開けなさいと命じ、
But it's only for today. It's agony to wait. Tell the guards to open up the gate!
でも、Let It Goで
何て言われても構わない！って開き直ってドアを閉めてしまい、
Turn away and slam the door. I don't care what they're going to say!
For The First Time In Forever(Reprise)で、
締め出さないでと懇願されるけど、断固拒否。
Please don't shut me out again,Please don't slam the door, You don't have to keep your distance anymore.
あと、Love Is An Open Doorは、プロポーズされて舞い上がって戸締まりを忘れてしまった感じ。
Let It Goの日本語版の歌詞は日本の子供向けに柔らかくした感があります。
英語版を読むとエルサの開き直りっぷりがこれでもかってくらいに伝わってきます。まさに”FROZEN”氷の女王の誕生です。

Let It Goの途中から。この歌の前半、エルサは過去を振り返ってため息まじりなんですが、後半、エルサは開き直ります。その部分を引用しました。全てがパワフルなんですが、太字が際立って印象的な箇所。

って立て続けに宣言していきます。最後の一文なんてむしろ嵐を楽しんでるし。
エルサ、本気です。マジです。強いです。ちょっと怖いです。
